The MM Technology factory team wrapped up this year’s Rallye du Maroc with a victory in the final stage. The crew of Martin Macik, Frantisek Tomasek, and David Svanda celebrated their third overall win together at this rally, confirming excellent form ahead of Dakar 2026. Five demanding stages and a concluding power stage tested every aspect of rally-raid skill and endurance — for both the crew and their truck.

Challenging Stages and Unpredictable Terrain

This year’s Rallye du Maroc had it all — hard-packed ground, dunes, rocky pistas, camel grass, and tough mountain crossings. The fourth stage, spanning 283 km, presented several tricky parts that left Joseph, the MM Technology factory truck, with a few scratches but no serious damage. The fifth stage covered 247 kilometers, and, despite a few minor mistakes, the factory crew handled most of the route superbly. The rally concluded with a 31-kilometer power stage, which the team completed flawlessly to secure overall victory.

“The rally was tough, the terrain diverse, and we truly experienced it all. We even got stuck in the dunes for a moment, and our navigator Frantisek briefly lost our route right at the end — but that’s part of racing. Our truck, Joseph, ran perfectly, and we’re heading home confident that we’re ready for Dakar 2026,” said pilot Martin Macik.

Strong Result for the Second EVO4 Truck

The second brand-new truck from the MM Technology technological center, Czeslaw of the White Reds team, also performed impressively throughout the rally, maintaining a steady pace and crossing the finish line in second place. For both teams, the event served as an essential pre-Dakar test, demonstrating that the new EVO4 trucks are proving themselves not only in factory team colors but also in customer hands.

Meeting the fans before and after the Dakar

Before heading to Dakar 2026, the MM Technology crew will meet fans once more at the traditional Let’s go to Dakar event, held at the end of November in Sedlcany’s main square. After returning from Dakar, the team will embark on the Dakar Obsessed TALK SHOW tour, which this year includes ten stops across the Czech Republic, starting in February.
